Stumbled on this by accident, but it is a nice place with several very nice ball fields, soccer, etc and a nice raised walking bridge. It will be expanded down to rejoin the Mt Vernon Trail. Fun...

We are living in the area temporarily and visit this park often with our kids. They love the climbing features and all the open spaces. There are great soccer and footballs fields, a seasonal spray...

0750-0830ish on a Tuesday, only passed about 5 other people. Around 9 it started getting busy. Tons of green space. Plenty of seating to stop and take a break, great views. Trash cans are pretty far spaced so bring your baggies if you have dogs to keep the park clean. Pretty noisy because of the railway and airport but beautiful nonetheless. The walkway on the right side (heading back) is mostly gravel/pebbles, the other side is stroller/walker friendly. Water fountain with dog access located near the aquatic center.

Nice place for a short walking with beautiful views! And the park is plenty of options for sports and family time. Next, is the fantastic Long Bridge Aquatic Community Center.
