  • The rangers here are very informative and helpful. The visitor center is more of a gift shop than an information center.

  • The Arches are Beautiful! The rock formation really is astounding! You can look at them and see one thing and as you get nearer or passing by, you see something else. The hiking trails are well maintained. Be sure to check out the signs, they tell you how far the trail is to get to the site. Unfortunately, which I'm guessing is due to the pandemic, they are restricting the amount of visitors between 8am-5pm. You have to get a pass for the time you want to go in. Be sure to get them early because they sell out. But, after 5pm you don't need that pass. Also, there is now a $30 fee to enter the park. But, if you have a "America The Beautiful" pass, then it's free to enter. I highly suggest getting that pass because you are able to use it at most national parks in the US.
  • Arches National Park is a favorite. Very well maintained. Well marked paths for shorter hikes. At first, I thought the timed entry to the park sounded silly, but it turned out great. Lines were not long; parking was available at every area we decided to stop at. We brought our lunch, and the picnic area was well shaded. It was very hot, just over 100 degrees, so bring water, a hat, and sunscreen.
