Princess Diana once lived at Kensington Palace, a favorite residence for many of history’s best-known royal figures. The palace has its origins in a Jacobean mansion built in 1605. Redesigned in 1689 to suit the needs of the joint monarchs William and Mary, the building was turned into a monumental palace by the acclaimed architect Christopher Wren. Visit this historic site to take a look at recent decades of royal fashions, explore the grand staircases once climbed by kings, stroll through the manicured gardens, and stand under the 12,000 Swarovski crystals that make up an impressive light fixture at the center of the building. Tickets purchased online allow access to the palace, gardens, and permanent exhibits, including Fashion Rules and Victoria Revealed. Kensington Palace is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , online itinerary creator Edition.

  • I think the term "palace" is misleading. It would be more appropriate to call it Kensington House. It isnt really a palace at all. Its a kind of economy hotel for lesser royals who would otherwise...

  • A waste of £16. 30 minutes was all it took. About 16 years ago I spent at least 90 minutes in the Palace, it was a 1000 times better, with displays of outfits worn by the Queen Mother, Queen...

  • Great place to visit especially if you are a historic fan. The Palace has lots of stuff to make our eyes explore the royal life. Great surroundings.. there is a small pond with lots of swans and birds. Children will have fun time. This is located near a very big park and great for families and friends weekend gatherings.
  • Never been before and the weather helped an enjoyable day. The self lead audio tour was insightful and the venue not overly crowded. Gift shop had some lovely items and the cafe ample indoor/outdoor seating. The Pavilion restaurant looked inviting
