A quaint arts and crafts garden, Hidcote Manor Garden contains different themed outdoor "rooms." Explore the maze of narrow pathways leading to the each room, take a moment to reflect on one of the many ornate benches throughout the property, or find a place of seclusion among the taller trees. The gardens are home to a vast number of exotic plant species from all over the world. After your visit, follow the Monarch's Way path to the quaint hamlet of Hidcote Bartrim and its traditionally thatched "chocolate box" stone cottages. Hidcote Manor Garden reviews
The whole place is good with much variety. Wear good walking shoes it's all outdoors. It laid out as a series of rooms, the maps essential to make sure you don't miss anywhere.

Another excellent National Trust location, Hidcote Manor has a huge garden area with lots of see. We visitied in May spent 2-3 hours wandering around the place. There is even an old tennis court...

Although a lover of gardens, I only visited for the first time a couple of weeks ago and loved it! Each section looks and feels distinctly different and I didn't want to miss anything. Having seen so much pink & purple everywhere recently, I was particularly enamoured with and inspired by the Red Border - plenty of drama and imaginative planting! Even the shop was spectacular, with plants arranged creatively in colour-coordinated, height-adjusted displays of healthy plants. Definitely worth a visit!
Gardens are packed full of all kinds of plants and flowers with many different areas of interest, staff must work hard to keep it all looking so well. Not much of the property is open but it's a nice old building. Nice cafe and friendly staff throughout. An interesting day especially if you plants/gardens etc.
