One of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, Madurai sits on the banks of the River Vaigai and serves as a center of Tamil culture.
On the 16th (Sat), take in the spiritual surroundings of Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam, take in the local highlights with Walking tours, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple.
