Divided into neighborhoods with distinct characters and cultural heritages, San Diego sits just north of the Mexican border and offers visitors a blend of tourist attractions, including a lively nightlife, diverse cuisine, and a thriving musical scene.Get out of town with these interesting San Diego side-trips: Anaheim (Soarin' Around The World, Downtown Disney District, &more) and Self Realization Fellowship Hermitage & Meditation Gardens (in Encinitas). Spend the 18th (Sat) exploring the fascinating underwater world at SeaWorld San Diego. There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at USS Midway Museum, let little ones run wild at Balboa Park, explore the galleries of Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and explore the striking landscape of Cabrillo National Monument.

Seattle to San Diego is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus.
