Venice of the West

Regarded as an art and history city, Nantes is called the Venice of the West.
Kick off your visit on the 29th (Tue): examine the collection at Memorial de l'Abolition de l'Esclavage, see the interesting displays at Les Machines de L'ile, and then step into the grandiose world of Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne.
