Red Rock Country

Despite its relatively small size, Sedona overflows with tourist appeal.
Start off your visit on the 8th (Tue): take a memorable drive along Red Rock Scenic Byway (SR 179), then take in the dramatic natural features at Bell Rock, and then soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: explore the striking landscape at Cathedral Rock and then explore and take pictures at Oak Creek Canyon.

Gilbert to Sedona is an approximately 2.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of tram and shuttle; or do a combination of tram and bus. Traveling from Gilbert in May, expect Sedona to be slightly colder, temps between 30°C and 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Thu) early enough to drive to Gilbert.

Gilbert is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, located southeast of Phoenix, within the Phoenix metropolitan area. Venture out of the city with trips to Apache Junction (Goldfield Ghost Town & Lost Dutchman State Park), Boyce Thompson Arboretum (in Superior) and Biosphere 2 (in Oracle).
