Tivoli is a town and comune in Lazio, central Italy, about 30km east-north-east of Rome, at the falls of the Aniene river where it issues from the Sabine hills. Explore Tivoli's surroundings by going to Monastero Di S.Benedetto (in Subiaco), Ente Parco Naturale Regionale dei Monti Lucretili (in Palombara Sabina) and Grotte di Falvaterra (in Falvaterra). There's still lots to do: admire the natural beauty at Villa d'Este, don't miss a visit to Villa Adriana, and see the interesting displays at Museo Della Civilta Contadina E dell'Ulivo.
