Expect slightly colder weather when traveling from Chennai in June: highs in Mumbai hover around 38°C, while lows dip to 30°C. On the 4th (Fri), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Pune.

Pune has long enjoyed a reputation as a center of culture and commerce, with many dynastic rulers making the town central to their regional plans in the centuries before the British Raj.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Fri): take in the spiritual surroundings of Dagadusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple, examine the collection at Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, and then don't miss a visit to Laxmi Road. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: admire the landmark architecture of Shaniwar Wada, then examine the collection at Darshan Museum, and then hunt for treasures at Phule Market.
