Chennai, India to Bangkok is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1.5 hours traveling from Chennai to Bangkok. Traveling from Chennai in July, expect nights in Bangkok to be about the same, around 30°C, while days are little chillier, around 39°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Wed) early enough to take a shuttle to Pattaya.
