Oldest City in Germany

Trier may be the oldest city in Germany, founded long before the Roman times.
Kick off your visit on the 29th (Thu): examine the collection at Rhineland Museum (Rheinisches Landesmuseum), delve into the distant past at Trier Amphitheater, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Liebfrauenkirche, Trier, then admire the landmark architecture of St. Peter's Cathedral (Dom), and finally don't miss a visit to Hauptmarkt.
