Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
On the 11th (Tue), enjoy the sand and surf at Seahurst Beach Park, kick back and relax at Alki Beach, then browse the range of quality goods at Nordstrom, and finally shop like a local with Pike Place Market. On your second day here, take a stroll through Pioneer Square, take in the exciting artwork at Glasshouse Studio, then view the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass, and finally enjoy breathtaking views from Space Needle.
