New Delhi is known for historic sites, sightseeing, and parks. Chennai to New Delhi is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Traveling from Chennai in October, New Delhi is little chillier at night with lows of 24°C. You will leave for Kurukshetra on the 5th (Mon).

On the 5th (Mon), contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Phalgu Tirtha. On the 6th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: make a trip to Brahma Sarovar, take an in-depth tour of Dharohar Museum, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Bhadrakali Temple (Shri Devi Koop).

You can drive from New Delhi to Kurukshetra in 3.5 hours. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 7th (Wed) to allow enough time to drive back home.
