Indiana's capital and most populous city, Indianapolis is best known for its racecar events and impressive museums, and as the hometown of Kurt Vonnegut.
Kick off your visit on the 19th (Tue): examine the collection at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, then take in nature's colorful creations at Indianapolis Museum of Art, and then learn about winemaking at Urban Vines Winery & Brewery Co.. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: appreciate the history behind Medal of Honor Memorial, then see the interesting displays at Indiana State Museum, then see the interesting displays at The Eiteljorg Museum, and finally examine the collection at Rhythm! Carmel-by-the-Sea, often simply called Carmel, is a city in Monterey County, California, United States, founded in 1902 and incorporated on October 31, 1916. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Hearst Castle and Gallery by the Sea Carmel. Explore Carmel's surroundings by going to San Simeon (Friends of the Elephant Seal Visitor Center & Ragged Point Overlook) and Big Creek Bridge (in Big Sur).
