Indiana's capital and most populous city, Indianapolis is best known for its racecar events and impressive museums, and as the hometown of Kurt Vonnegut.
Start off your visit on the 16th (Wed): don't miss a visit to USS Indianapolis Memorial. On the 17th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the different monuments and memorials at Crown Hill Cemetery, steep yourself in history at Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, then take an in-depth tour of Oldfields-Lilly House and Gardens, then indulge your thirst for a good beer at Urban Vines Winery & Brewery Co., and finally explore the world behind art at Indianapolis Art Center.

Carmel-by-the-Sea, often simply called Carmel, is a city in Monterey County, California, United States, founded in 1902 and incorporated on October 31, 1916. Monterey Bay Food Tours and Photography West Gallery are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's lots more to do: get to know the fascinating history of Pacific Grove Oceanview Boulevard, immerse yourself in nature at Point Lobos, stroll around Garland Ranch Regional Park, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Monterey Peninsula Recreational Trail.
