Carmel — 4 nights

Carmel-by-the-Sea, often simply called Carmel, is a city in Monterey County, California, United States, founded in 1902 and incorporated on October 31, 1916. Hearst Castle and Monterey Bay Food Tours are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get out of town with these interesting Carmel side-trips: San Simeon (Ragged Point Overlook & Piedras Blancas) and Hawthorne Gallery (in Big Sur). And it doesn't end there: admire the majestic nature at Point Lobos, get to know the fascinating history of Pacific Grove Oceanview Boulevard, take in the exciting artwork at Gallery by the Sea Carmel, and admire the masterpieces at Casa Serrano, Historic Adobe.
