Indiana's capital and most populous city, Indianapolis is best known for its racecar events and impressive museums, and as the hometown of Kurt Vonnegut.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Fri): stroll the grounds of Crown Hill Cemetery. Here are some ideas for day two: admire the natural beauty at White River State Park, then get engrossed in the history at Indiana Historical Society, then don't miss a visit to The Miller House and Garden, and finally admire the landmark architecture of North Christian Church.
