Bethesda — 3 nights
Bethesda is a census-designated place in southern Montgomery County, Maryland, United States, located just northwest of the U.S. capital of Washington, D.C. It takes its name from a local church, the Bethesda Meeting House (1820, rebuilt 1849), which in turn took its name from Jerusalem's Pool of Bethesda. Get a sense of the local culture at Little Round Top and Eisenhower National Historic Site. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Bethesda: Gettysburg (91st Pennsylvania Monument, Ghost & Vampire Tours, &more) and National Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (in Emmitsburg). And it doesn't end there: walk around Cabin John Regional Park, admire the masterpieces at Ratner Museum, view the masterpieces at Waverly Street Gallery, and grab your bike and head to Capitol Crescent.
To find reviews, more things to do, other places to visit, and more tourist information, refer to the Bethesda road trip website.
