Kufa is a city in Iraq, about 170km south of Baghdad, and 10km northeast of Najaf. Kufa is known for historic sites and museums. Your plan includes some of its best attractions: contemplate the long history of Shrine Amir al-mo'menin Ali bin Abi Talib peace be upon him, take an in-depth tour of House of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb, explore the different monuments and memorials at Wadi Al-Salaam Cemetery, and make a trip to Great Mosque of Kufa.

Karbala is a city in central Iraq, located about 100km southwest of Baghdad, and a few miles east of Lake Milh. When in Karbala, make a side trip to see Babylon in Al Hillah, approximately Al Hillah away. There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Imam Hussain's Shrine and steep yourself in history at Shrine of the two sons of Muslim Ibn Aqeel.
