Konye-Urgench, also known as Kunya-Urgench, Old Urgench or Urganj, is a municipality of about 30,000 inhabitants in north Turkmenistan, just south from its border with Uzbekistan. Start off your visit on the 6th (Tue): make a trip to Konye Urgenc, contemplate the long history of Kunya-Urgench, then don't miss a visit to Turabek Khanum Mausoleum, then don't miss a visit to Kutlug Timur Minaret, and finally contemplate the long history of Il Arslan Mausoleum.
