Venture out of the city with trips to Upside Down Pattaya (in Na Chom Thian), Ban Phe Market (in Phe) and Rayong Aquarium (in Rayong). Fly from Chiang Mai to Pattaya in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. When traveling from Chiang Mai in March, plan for a bit cooler days in Pattaya, with highs around 88°F, while nights are somewhat warmer with lows around 79°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Fri) so you can catch the shuttle to Bangkok.
