Fondly referred to as “El Sur” by the locals, Maspalomas serves as a hub of entertainment and beach activity on Gran Canary Island.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Vegueta and Ermita Espiritu Santo. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Las Canteras Beach and Playa de Mogan. Take a break from Maspalomas with a short trip to Centro de Arte La Regenta in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, about 46 minutes away.
