Lyon is a historical city with a vibrant cultural scene as the birthplace of cinema, the silk capital of the globe, and the second biggest Renaissance city following Venice.
Take a break from the city and head to Lake Annecy and Go & Sea. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Lyon: Les Gorges du Fier (in Lovagny), Annecy (Le Thiou, Ile des Cygnes, &more) and Grenoble (Climbing Tours, Canyoning & Rappelling Tours, &more).
