Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.
Step out of the city life by going to Lake Geneva and Creux du Van. The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Escape the urban bustle at Lake Zurich and Rigi. Change things up with these side-trips from Zurich: Lucerne (Lucerne Station, Chapel Bridge, &more), Sportbahnen Atzmannig (in Goldingen) and Interlaken (Harderkulm & Parasailing & Paragliding). The adventure continues: wander the streets of Old Town, hit the slopes at Grindelwald-First, get a taste of the local shopping with Bahnhofstrasse, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Uetliberg Mountain.

Traveling by flight from Geneva to Zurich takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. In April, plan for daily highs up to 58°F, and evening lows to 41°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 19th (Mon) to allow time for travel back home.
