Traveling by flight from Chennai to Coimbatore takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or take a train; or drive. Traveling from Chennai in May, things will get slightly colder in Coimbatore: highs are around 40°C and lows about 28°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Thu) so you can catch the flight back home.
