The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Escape the urban bustle at Mt Pilatus and Rigi. Explore Zurich's surroundings by going to Rhine Falls (in Neuhausen am Rheinfall), Lucerne (Lake Lucerne, Biosphaere Entlebuch, &more) and Pfarrkirche St. Heinrich (in Beckenried). There's still lots to do: explore the activities along Lake Zurich, get great views at Harderkulm, fly down the slopes at Grindelwald-First, and take a stroll through Bahnhofstrasse.

You can drive from Basel to Zurich in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. In May, daily temperatures in Zurich can reach 65°F, while at night they dip to 47°F. On the 30th (Sun), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
