Provins cultivates roses to make all sorts of foods from roses with specialties including rose petal jam, Provinois rose honey, and rose candy.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Provins: musee aeronautique et spatial SAFRAN (in Reau), Blandy (Saint-Maurice Church & Chateau de Blandy-les-Tours) and Parc des Felins (in Lumigny-Nesles-Ormeaux). There's still lots to do: steep yourself in history at Les Souterrains de Provins, make a trip to The Saint-Jean's Gate and The Ramparts, enjoy breathtaking views from La Tour Cesar, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Saint-Quiriace.
