Take a trip to Abu Dhabi to discover a modern metropolis built on a strip of land jutting out into the Persian Gulf.

Chennai, India to Abu Dhabi is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive. Traveling from Chennai to Abu Dhabi, you'll gain 1.5 hours due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Chennai in September, things will get a bit warmer in Abu Dhabi: highs are around 47°C and lows about 34°C. You will have some time to spend on the 5th (Mon) before leaving for Dubai.

Visiting Waterskiing & Jetskiing and Safaris will get you outdoors. There's much more to do: enjoy breathtaking views from Burj Khalifa, cool off at Wild Wadi Waterpark, browse the different shops at Souk Madinat Jumeirah, and admire the landmark architecture of Emirates Towers.

You can drive from Abu Dhabi to Dubai in 1.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of bus and subway; or fly. September in Dubai sees daily highs of 46°C and lows of 36°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 8th (Thu) so you can go by car to Sharjah.

Located along the northern coast of the Persian Gulf, Sharjah was named the Middle East's top cultural city by UNESCO in 1998.

Kick off your visit on the 9th (Fri): find something for the whole family at Al Montazah Parks. On the 10th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: stroll through Ajman Beach, then see the interesting displays at Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, then get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Sharjah Aquarium, and finally make a trip to King Faisal Mosque.

Sharjah is just a short distance from Dubai. Traveling from Dubai in September, expect slightly colder with lows of 32°C in Sharjah. You'll have a few hours on the 11th (Sun) to wrap things up before traveling to Ras Al Khaimah.

Nicknamed "the Rising Emirate," Ras Al Khaimah may be an unfamiliar name to many tourists, but has been tipped as the next Dubai thanks to its steady development (along with the rest of the U.A.E.) of luxury resorts, retail districts, and shopping malls.

Step out of the city life by going to Al Qela'a and Zipline. Step out of Ras Al Khaimah to go to Fujairah and see Al Boom Diving, which is approximately 58 minutes away. There's lots more to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Jabal Bil Ays, buy something for everyone on your list at Al Hamra Mall, stroll through Wadi Bih, and make a splash at Ice Land Water Park.

Drive from Sharjah to Ras Al Khaimah in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and taxi. In September, plan for daily highs up to 47°C, and evening lows to 31°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Wed) to allow enough time to fly back home.
