Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Escape the urban bustle at Fort Casey State Park and Northwest Trek Wildlife Park. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Fishing Charters & Tours and Sky View Observatory. Venture out of the city with trips to Tacoma (Tacoma Dome, Chihuly Bridge of Glass, &more), Olympia (Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, Hands On Children's Museum, &more) and Coupeville (Admiralty Head Lighthouse & Lavender Wind Farm). The adventure continues: hike along Whatcom Falls Park, take a stroll through Pike Place Market, kick back and relax at Alki Beach, and admire the natural beauty at Kubota Garden.

Washington DC to Seattle is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from Washington DC to Seattle. Traveling from Washington DC in November, you will find days in Seattle are slightly colder (53°F), and nights are about the same (42°F). On the 9th (Mon), you're off to Vancouver.

Hollywood North

Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Fishing Charters & Tours and English Bay. Escape the urban bustle at The Whistler Train Wreck Trail and Stawamus Chief Park.
