Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Fort Casey State Park and Sky View Observatory. Kids will appreciate attractions like Fishing Charters & Tours and Whatcom Falls Park. Venture out of the city with trips to Larsen Lake Blueberry Farm (in Bellevue), North Bend Premium Outlets (in North Bend) and Snoqualmie Falls (in Snoqualmie). There's still lots to do: have fun and explore at Hands On Children's Museum, admire the natural beauty at Washington Park Arboretum, admire the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass, and ponder the design of Seattle Center.
