Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Visiting Snoqualmie Falls and Discovery Park will get you outdoors. Step off the beaten path and head to Fort Worden State Park and Whatcom Falls Park. Get out of town with these interesting Seattle side-trips: Peace Arch State Park (in Blaine), Marine Life Center (in Bellingham) and Marymoor Park (in Redmond). Next up on the itinerary: explore the engaging exhibits at Hands On Children's Museum, wander the streets of Pike Place Market, look for all kinds of wild species at Bloedel Reserve, and take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports.

Known as "Hollywood North," Vancouver boasts one of the largest film/television industries in the world, second only to Los Angeles and New York.
Step out of the city life by going to Fishing Charters & Tours and The Whistler Train Wreck Trail. Kids will enjoy Peak to Creek and Helicopter Tours.
