Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Chihuly Garden and Glass and Pioneer Square are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Bring the kids along to Pike Place Market and Space Needle. Get out of town with these interesting Seattle side-trips: Olympic National Park (Hurricane Ridge, Bunch Creek Falls, &more). Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, stroll through Discovery Park, stop by Elliott Bay Book Company, and meet the residents at Woodland Park Zoo.

San Francisco is a top holiday destination featuring scenic beauty and great ethnic and cultural diversity.
Get a sense of the local culture at Alcatraz Island and Charles M. Schulz Museum. Kids will enjoy Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman's Wharf.
