Venice of the West

Regarded as an art and history city, Nantes is called the Venice of the West.
Attractions like Aquarium La Rochelle and Passage Pommeraye make great kid-friendly stops. Venture out of the city with trips to Sentier D'interpretation du Pointeau (in Saint-Brevin-les-Pins), Golf de Caden (in Caden) and Plage de la Source (in Penestin).
