Munnar — 14 nights

Southern Spice

Sitting at the point where three mountain rivers meet, the hill station of Munnar has become known as a tea-growing center in the south of the country.
Venture out of the city with trips to Nature Education Centre, Pampadum Shola (in Vattavada), Top Station View Point (in Theni) and Kollengode Palace (in Kollengode). Spend the 1st (Thu) exploring nature at Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park. Spend the 9th (Fri) exploring nature at Mathikettan Shola National Park. The adventure continues: take in nature's colorful creations at Tea Gardens, take some stellar pictures from Munnar Hill Station, admire the sheer force of Lakkam Waterfalls, and admire the engineering at Mattupetty Dam.

To see maps, more things to do, reviews, and more tourist information, you can read our Munnar route builder tool.

November in Munnar sees daily highs of 38°C and lows of 28°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 15th (Thu) so you can travel back home.
