Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
Get some cultural insight at The Getty Center and Griffith Observatory. For shopping fun, head to Two Rodeo Drive or Revolver Gallery. Step out of Los Angeles with an excursion to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills--about 34 minutes away. There's lots more to do: stroll through Santa Monica State Beach, wander the streets of Montana Avenue, examine the collection at The Nethercutt Collection, and admire the masterpieces at Norton Simon Museum.
