Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
The Getty Center and Rodeo Drive are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Escape the urban bustle at Santa Monica State Beach and Venice Beach and Boardwalk. Explore Los Angeles' surroundings by going to Annenberg Community Beach House (in Santa Monica) and Malibu (El Pescador State Beach, Nicholas Canyon Beach, &more). The adventure continues: look and learn at Griffith Observatory, browse the different shops at Two Rodeo Drive, wander the streets of Montana Avenue, and take a leisurely stroll along Santa Monica Pier.
