Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
The Getty Center and Griffith Observatory are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Do your shopping at Santa Monica Farmers Market and Two Rodeo Drive. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Los Angeles: Nicholas Canyon Beach (in Malibu), Calboat Diving - Spectre Dive Boat (in Ventura) and Bergamot Station (in Santa Monica).
