Surrounded by mountain ranges, forests, valleys, beaches, and deserts, the metropolitan area of Los Angeles is home to over 17 million people.
We've included these beaches for you: Santa Monica Bay and Santa Monica State Beach. Shop till you drop at Montana Avenue and Rodeo Drive. Venture out of the city with trips to Frederick R. Weisman Art Foundation (in Beverly Hills) and Annenberg Community Beach House (in Santa Monica).
