Zermatt

Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Step off the beaten path and head to Sunnegga and Mountaineers' Cemetery. Attractions like Gornergrat and Matterhorn Museum - Zermatlantis make great kid-friendly stops. Explore Zermatt's surroundings by going to Sion (Valere Basilica & Chateau de Tourbillon), Eglise du Cloitre (in Aigle) and Les Mines De Sel De Bex (in Bex). There's still lots to do: take in the pleasant sights at Hinterdorfstrasse, take in nature's colorful creations at Ricola herb garden, explore the activities along Riffelsee, and explore the striking landscape at Gorner Gorge.
