The former capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh, Leh possesses a historic old town area marked by stupas, monasteries, and traditional mud-brick houses.
Explore hidden gems such as Shanti Stupa and River Rafting & Tubing. Change things up with a short trip to Alchi Monastery in Alchi (about 1h 30 min away). There's still lots to do: cruise along Khardung La, take in the spiritual surroundings of Gurudwara Shri Pathar Sahib, and take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback.
