Getting from Leh to Pelling by combination of flight and taxi takes about 9 hours. Other options: drive; or do a combination of bus, train, and taxi. In July, daily temperatures in Pelling can reach 90°F, while at night they dip to 78°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 6th (Mon) so you can go by car to Gangtok.

Gangtok — 2 nights

Situated in the eastern Himalayan range, state capital Gangtok combines a modern, resort town style with ancient spiritual beliefs and an impressive natural heritage.
Start off your visit on the 7th (Tue): make a trip to Hanuman Tok, don't miss a visit to Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, and then explore the landscape on two wheels at Tsongmo Lake. On the 8th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the spiritual surroundings of Ranka Monastery and then take a stroll through MG Marg.

You can drive from Pelling to Gangtok in 4.5 hours. On the 8th (Wed), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can fly to Manali.

Manali — 3 nights

People visit Manali for a number of reasons, but all of them revolve around the landscape.
Get in touch with nature at Jogini Waterfall and Beas Kund. Kids will appreciate attractions like Canyoning & Rappelling Tours and Beas River. Change things up with a short trip to Hampta in Kullu (about 1h 15 min away). There's much more to do: appreciate the views at Solang Valley, take in the dramatic scenery at Rozy Falls, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Friendship Peak, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Rani Nallah.

Traveling by flight from Gangtok to Manali takes 7 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of taxi, train, and bus. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Dharamsala.

Dharamsala — 2 nights

The hill station of Dharamsala's reputation stems from its large community of exiled Tibetan Buddhists, including the Dalai Lama.
Kick off your visit on the 12th (Sun): take an in-depth tour of Tibetan Museum, then take in the awesome beauty at Triund Hill, and then take some stellar pictures from Naddi View Point.
