The blue-walled buildings in the old quarter of Jodhpur have a calming, quaint aesthetic when viewed from up high, but down on the streets the city bustles with a lively atmosphere that belies its toy-town color.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Wed): pick up a one of a kind souvenir at Blue Bohemian and then browse for treasures at Keshav handicrafts.

A World Heritage Site, the desert city of Jaisalmer has a number of historical attractions, buildings, and legends worthy of protection.
Get some cultural insight at Jain Temples and Chandrakanta Art's. Step off the beaten path and head to Bellissima and Vijay Leather Works. There's still lots to do: stop by Ashok Shanti Jewellers.

You can drive from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer in 4.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or take a train. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Mon) to allow time to travel to Agra.

Taj City

Tourism in Agra revolves around two words: Taj Mahal.

Leh — 5 nights

The former capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh, Leh possesses a historic old town area marked by stupas, monasteries, and traditional mud-brick houses.
Explore hidden gems such as Khardung La and Alchi Monastery. Head to De Pashmina Emporium and Himalayan Pashmina Shawlsfor plenty of shopping. Get out of town with these interesting Leh side-trips: Likir Gompa (in Likir) and Hazara Arts (in Srinagar). Spend the 9th (Thu) among lush scenery at Zanskar the Virgin Valley. Next up on the itinerary: take in the spiritual surroundings of Shanti Stupa, look for gifts at Zanskar Arts, steep yourself in history at Riasi Fort or Zorawar Fort, and examine the collection at Hall of Fame.

Known as the "Pink City" because of the color of the stone used for many of its notable structures, Jaipur draws visitors with its chaotic street life and a slew of colorful bazaars selling everything from handmade pottery to tie-dye scarves.
