The Port of the Moon

With a long history of producing regional wines since the Romans brought grapevines here during the first century, so many people consider Bordeaux to be the wine capital of the world.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Place de la Bourse and Chateau Cantenac. Change things up with these side-trips from Bordeaux: Saint-Emilion (Galerie d'Art Contemporain L'Orange Bleue, Monolithic Church of Saint-Emilion, &more), Chateau de Reignac (in Saint-Loubes) and Chateau Siaurac (in Neac). The adventure continues: admire the striking features of La Cite du Vin, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Andre Cathedral, take in the dramatic natural features at La Grande Dune du Pilat, and contemplate the waterfront views at Vieux Port.
