The Port of the Moon

With a long history of producing regional wines since the Romans brought grapevines here during the first century, so many people consider Bordeaux to be the wine capital of the world.
Get a sense of the local culture at Place de la Bourse and St. Andre Cathedral. Get out of town with these interesting Bordeaux side-trips: Lascaux II (in Montignac), Perigueux (Cathedrale St-Front & Musee d’Art et d’Archeologie du Perigord) and Biarritz (Cite de l'Ocean, Rocher de la Vierge, &more).
