Zermatt — 6 nights

Step off the beaten path and head to Matterhorn Museum - Zermatlantis and Forest Fun Park Zermatt. Family-friendly places like Fondation Pierre Gianadda and Gorner Gorge will thrill your kids. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Zermatt: Riederalp (in Riederalp), Museo delle guardie svizzere (in Naters) and Trapgame (in Charrat). There's lots more to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Aletsch Glacier, take in the pleasant sights at Hinterdorfstrasse, stroll the grounds of Mountaineers' Cemetery, and glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour.

Traveling by train from Interlaken to Zermatt takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 10th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.
