Tea gardens and eucalyptus trees scent the air of the fields surrounding Ooty, a popular summer tourism destination up in the hills.
Step out of the city life by going to Pykara Lake and Ooty Lake. Step out of Ooty (Udhagamandalam) to go to Bandipur and see Bandipur National Park and Tiger Reserve, which is approximately 1h 50 min away. There's still lots to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Government Botanical Garden, take in the awesome beauty at Doddabetta Peak, and admire the sheer force of Pykara Falls.
