Chennai, India to Abu Dhabi is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone difference moving from India Standard Time to Gulf Standard Time is minus 1.5 hours. Traveling from Chennai in January, things will get slightly colder in Abu Dhabi: highs are around 28°C and lows about 18°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 9th (Mon) early enough to go by car to Sharjah.

Start off your visit on the 11th (Wed): zoom along the surf with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure, then admire the landmark architecture of Burj Khalifa, and then browse the different shops at The Dubai Mall.
