Take a trip to Abu Dhabi to discover a modern metropolis built on a strip of land jutting out into the Persian Gulf.
Get outdoors at Climbing Tours and Waterskiing & Jetskiing. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Safaris and Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

Chennai, India to Abu Dhabi is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive. You'll gain 1.5 hours traveling from Chennai to Abu Dhabi due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Chennai in March, expect Abu Dhabi to be a bit cooler, temps between 34°C and 23°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 20th (Sun) early enough to drive to Dubai.

Take a holiday in Dubai to experience a mix of excitement, entertainment, and relaxation.
Take a break from the city and head to Al Mamzar Beach Park and Dubai Creek. Kids will enjoy Burj Khalifa and Al Qudra Cycle Path. There's lots more to do: kick back and relax at Kite Beach, explore the activities along Dubai Water Canal, get engrossed in the history at Dubai Museum & Al Fahidi Fort, and experience the excitement of Dreamscape.

Drive from Abu Dhabi to Dubai in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and subway; or fly. In March in Dubai, expect temperatures between 34°C during the day and 24°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Wed) early enough to drive to Sharjah.

Sharjah — 2 nights

Located along the northern coast of the Persian Gulf, Sharjah was named the Middle East's top cultural city by UNESCO in 1998.
Start off your visit on the 24th (Thu): get curious at Sharjah Science Museum, then observe the fascinating underwater world at Sharjah Aquarium, and then see what you can catch with Fishing with Captain Hook. On the next day, make a trip to Rain Room, then stop by Sheba Iranian Carpets & Antiques Stores, and then get engrossed in the history at Sharjah Fort - Al Hisn.

Sharjah is very close to Dubai. Traveling from Dubai in March, Sharjah is a bit cooler at night with lows of 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Ras Al Khaimah.

Ras Al Khaimah — 2 nights

Rising Emirate

Nicknamed "the Rising Emirate," Ras Al Khaimah may be an unfamiliar name to many tourists, but has been tipped as the next Dubai thanks to its steady development (along with the rest of the U.A.E.) of luxury resorts, retail districts, and shopping malls.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Sat): head outdoors with Outdoor Activities and then play a few rounds at Al Hamra Golf Club. Keep things going the next day: whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks.

Traveling by car from Sharjah to Ras Al Khaimah takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and taxi. In March, plan for daily highs up to 35°C, and evening lows to 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 27th (Sun) early enough to fly back home.
