Tourism has thrived for a long time in the popular eastern port city of Chonburi, thanks to the relaxing seaside getaway that the city provides.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Thu): learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Khao Kheow Open Zoo and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Wihan Thep Sathit Phra Ki Ti Chaloem. Here are some ideas for day two: kick back and relax at Bang Saen Beach, then make a trip to Khao Sam Muk, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Khao Phra Khru Viewpoint.

Famous for its nightlife and activity-filled seafront, Pattaya remains a major party destination for tourists and expats in Thailand.
Kids will appreciate attractions like The Sanctuary Of Truth and Walking Street Pattaya. Change things up with a short trip to Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden in Na Chom Thian (about 42 minutes away). There's still lots to do: head off the coast to Koh Larn, enjoy the sand and surf at Jomtien Beach, make a trip to Pattaya Floating Market, and cool off at Cartoon Network Amazone.
